HRD

HRD since its inception in 2010 has been focusing on upgrading the knowledge and skills of various cadre staff- senior and middle level management, grass-root and other cadre staff working in field and institutions including disability/hospitals. Its major focus is on community organization, gender and leadership skills. It has also identified a few potential staff having knowledge and aptitude in trainings and is conducting series of trainings (TOT) to train them as trainers so that they carry out trainings for staff and members of community based organizations (CBOs) independently. As many as 15 trainings covering 188 staff were conducted by HRD during the reference period. These include:

  • 9- Trainings on community organization and leadership for grass root cadre staff such as community organizers, health organizers, group organizers, education training team members etc.,
  • 1 – Training on community organization and leadership for middle level management
  • 1-Training of Trainers (TOT) course for middle level management staff
  • 3-TOT on Gender for middle level management staff
  • 5-day Management Development Program (MDP) for regional directors/assistant director cadre staff.
