WDT Introduction

The Women Development Trust (WDT) works to support the developmental needs of rural communities, with a particular focus on women and children.

WDT’s programmes are directed towards providing medical care and relief services to rural communities across the chronically drought-prone regions of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana.

Established in Anantapur in 1982, the organisation has since played a supportive role in strengthening public health systems. Over the years, WDT has contributed to raising awareness around preventable diseases and improving access to quality healthcare and follow-up services for those most in need.
